The hut warden is present from the end of June to the end of September

Our hut is situated in the UNESCO World Heritage Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch right next to the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. It is a traditional alpine hut in a high alpine environment (the glacier seems to be in one’s grasp). The path to the hut is one of the most impressive in the Swiss Alps, reason enough for hiking up a few hours. In peace and quiet you can admire the fantastic scenery and enjoy the (nearly) daily visit of ibexes, directly below the hut’s windows. Beside the ascent of the Schreckhorn, the hut is a good starting point for exploring lesser known summits and routes, so it is well worth spending some days here.
